Hello folks,

I’m trying to get to the 10A fuse in my glovebox, but the cover’s being a total pain and won’t budge. I don’t want to wreck it, so I’m curious - is this a common thing? Any tips to popping it open without breaking anything?
Would like to know if anyone else has dealt with this!

TIA Romy.

There was a time by glovebox cover seemed stuck, and I was worried about damaging it cause I needed to access the fuses. What worked for me was gently wiggling it back and forth while applying a bit of pressure in the direction I needed it to move....Just be patient and take your time, as forcing it can lead to breaks.

Are you talking about the fuses by the steering column? I used a pry tool from a trim removal kit to get it started but resorted to a big flathead screwdriver once I could get some leverage without digging into the visible surface. Actually changing the fuses back in there is even more fun. It’s a real “no user serviceable parts inside” situation compared to every other car I’ve owned.
