How many kw/h to charge from zero

Tried to search this on Forum but no luck. Apologies if been thrashed out before.
My 220v charger shows kw/h used and time taken to charge.
From flat or zero on car gauge it uses about 6kw/h to charge to full. With an 8.8kw battery is this about normal?
Ps. Is a 2017 with 58k km (36k miles) and shows 38km ( 23 miles) when fully charged.

My 220V L2 charger logs show that I generally use 5.8kWh to charge my battery from dead. Keep in mind that my car has 50k miles on the clock and I can barely squeeze 15 miles of pure EV range.

The battery will not go below a certain minimum charge level. I have a 2017 as well, with a meter on the charger outlet. 6kwh to charge is similar to what I’ve noticed.

I average about 6.2kWh. 88,000 miles. 21-24 miles during summer, 14-17 during winter. Sub 0 temperatures this week in Colorado.

Have you determined your actual EV miles with a full charge? 23 miles on the meter is pretty good. I have a 2017 as well and had the EV battery replaced about a year ago. Though my meter shows 26mi after a charge, my actual is about 21-22 EV miles.

Max calculated range (according to car’s dashboard) on our 2017, which has just over 100k miles on it, is 25-26 miles in mild temps. Actual range with no AC running is slightly less, even when driven gingerly. This seems to be a better max EV range than I see others posting in the forum. My theory is that, since the car has been charged using a level one charger for most of its life, that has helped the battery’s longevity.

Driving carefully with no AC I squeeze out about 20mile (30km) at 24deg in Summer here in New Zealand. Original battery, and never been much better than that, which is ok with me as my trip to work is only 6km.

My 2017 with 23,000 miles tops up at 24 miles - and used 2 of those miles just to get out of the garage and go about 1/2 mile. I think this is a parallel to an ICE Golf I own - as the MPG in the first 3 to 4 miles is 12 MPG then as the car warms up - it get almost double that to 23 mpg And of course if I am in City traffic - less MPG - and up to 30 MPG steady 65 MPH on a open highway.

As most of you know, after starting the A3 with no accessories - the 24 mile range is good in warm weather, but the real rang depends on Speed and up and down hills and Coasting etc.

But without leaving the garage turn on the Heat (above 66 degrees) or A/C system and the range drops to 22 without moving. Ad Headlights - wipers - seat heat - etc - and it will drop to 20 range. The computer is recalculating the "Expected" range based on the anticipated accessory drain - even before you engage the Drive. Add Cold weather and all the numbers go down.

Yes, about what I experience. My mileage also drops 1 km if I listen to early 2000's rock music. And how do you have only 23,000 on a 2017?
