A normal OBDII scan tool won't show anything, you'd need the more advanced tool like the VCDS you linked, or perhaps the newer OBDeleven tool to read any coding regarding this kind of function. If the coding is visible at all, I should add.

I would think that this confit would be fairly standardized across all markets, though. What leads you to think there might be differences?

Although the battery capacity of both the EU and NA models is the same it looks like the max and possibly min charge levels are different. For example my NA model only charges about 6kWh while other post seem to suggest the EU models charges much more in the 8kWh range.

I would seriously consider the implications before entertaining any modification of any "electric components" on an e-tron as you could provide an Audi servicing agent grounds for voiding your warranty. Knowing how expensive e-tron components are and how many potential warranty issues there are in an unmodified e-tron, I think you could be taking a needless risk.

any mods could fall under that disclaimer. if the EU settings are good enough for the warranty then adjusting your car to EU standards should be no big deal.

Yes, you are correct, any mods could fall under that disclaimer, but I would suggest that any power-train modifications might be seen in a different light to enabling passenger mirror dipping on reverse. If the HV battery developed a fault after a VCDS mod to the HV system, Audi could be within their rights to charge you thousands to rectify the fault, that is if you actually owned the car outright. HP or lease could mean even worse!
