Hey everyone!

I just wanted to share my thoughts on the Audi premium carpet floor mats (pn: 8V1061271EMNO) for our A3 E-tron (or any A3 for that matter). The mats have a nice white piping around the edges that give the floor pan a bit of contrast. They are a little bit thicker than the stock carpet mats too.

Given how the mats cost around $180, I'm a little disappointed to see that the heel of my shoe is wearing the carpet material pretty quickly on my barely month old mats. If you expect a lot of people getting in and out of your car, I'd steer away from these.

I have the mojo mats in my MK6 GTI and those were WAY more robust and more plush too.

Man, $180 is steep for mats that don’t hold up! I get the appeal of the white piping and premium look, but if they’re wearing out after a month, that’s a tough sell. Have you tried looking at aftermarket options? Lloyd’s or 3D Maxpider might offer something that balances style and durability better. Your GTI mojo mats sound like a great benchmark to aim for! It might be worth reaching out to Audi about the wear; they sometimes offer goodwill replacements for premium accessories. Otherwise, upgrading to robust all-weather or hybrid mats could save you frustration in the long run.

I had a similar experience with some premium floor mats for my Model X. They looked great initially, but after a few months, the heel wear started showing. For the price, I expected better durability. I’ve had much better luck with weatherproof mats in the past..
