I recently acquired this car, and as with all of the vehicles I have owned, I just had to get my hands dirty doing something. I opted for the first upgrade to be the suspension. After some research, I decided to go with Bilstein B8 shocks and Eibach Pro springs. The install took about 4 hours, and the results rock! The ride is now super sporty and confident and has a nice look to it to boot.

Here is a before:

Took a couple picks once the parts were in to show what they were:

And here is the result, sorry not the same angle, but the same parking garage:

Hi Justin
I think we got our A3 etrons about the same time. My car is also a 2018 Premium Plus with Sport Package which i purchased at the end of August. I am very happy you like the way your car looks and rides with the Eibach Springs. That stance is too low for me because our roads are bad where I live and it would make impact with potholes! So, i got the coilovers instead so i could set it to ride a bit higher. Isn't it great that we have 2 options for our rare cars!
What rims are those? I like the way they look on your car!
What are the next mods you have planned?

@Kmatt it lowered a lot more than I expected, I now get the fender overlapping the tires. There is no rubbing, but I'm not a fan of the look so much.

@CarMark they are the stock Audi wheels for the Sport package I believe. I haven't been able to find any info about them, but have seen them on occasion on some.

I do have problems with some train tracks and bad potholes with things bottoming out. What coilovers did you go with and were they just plug and play?

If I went coilover and eliminated my fender overlap I would start looking at new wheels again, but I'm not super keen on the options with the narrow reatriction of offset that I have to work with right now.
Other than that, I am actually super happy with things the way they are. I had looked into a new exhaust system and new rear diffuser with dual exhaust outlets and stuff like that, but sheit, it is a hybrid hahaha.

Hi Justin,
The coilovers i used were from APR, part number SUS00026. You can find them here:
https://www.goapr.com/products/suspension/coilovers/parts/SUS00026

I chose their product because they guaranteed fitment on our rare car and had full adjustment for ride height, shock dampening and camber. The installation was straightforward. It took the shop one day to complete the installation, set the ride height and set the dampening. I actually did not like their initial settings, so i had them raise the car 1/2 inch and softened the shocks a bit (which is easy to do myself). I love driving the car now as it handles great and is not too stiff on the potholes and bumps.

I have also considered removing the huge exhaust silencer behind the rear bumper. It won't add any power, but will make the ICE sound better when it is running. Clearly, Audi wanted people to think this was an electric car so they made it almost silent and they even hid the exhaust pipes!

Like you, i am also considering alternate wheels--the ones shown on the Audi promotional photo attached below. I got a used set for $400. Since they are designed for the A3, they will fit perfectly. When i have them installed i will send some more photos.

Happy Driving!
