A3 e-tron charging problem

My A3 e-tron is having charging problems. The charger light stays red, and I can't change the charging settings. When I plug it in, the lights flash and then stay red. There are no errors, and the car works fine. I had the car serviced recently. Could that have messed up the charging?

I had a similar issue with my A3 e-tron where the charging light would stay red, and it turned out to be an issue with the connection to the charging port. Sometimes the plug can get a bit loose, especially if there’s dust or debris in there. Try giving the plug and the port a quick clean and make sure it’s plugged in securely. Hey! A red charging light typically points to an issue with the connection or the charging system itself. Given that you recently had it serviced, there’s a possibility something was reset or an update wasn’t properly configured for the charging system. Sometimes after a service, software updates or reconfigurations can interfere with charging settings. I’d recommend a soft reset on the vehicle’s charging settings (if that’s possible) or disconnecting and reconnecting the charger to see if it resets.
