Hello everyone!
Want to just say that English isn't my native language so forgive me if it's confusing/hard to read.
I recently bought a 2016 a3 e-tron and i am very happy with it. The first mod i want to do to it is retrofit a s-line steering wheel with paddles. I have worked around airbags on older cars with zero issues so that part i know how to do. I know you have to disconnect the 12V battery and then you can safely do work near/around the airbags on non hybrid cars (don't know if it's the same with hybrid cars). My question is can i disconnect the 12V battery and do the steering wheel swap like with any other car and then connect it again when it's done or will i mess with the computers/the Li-Ion battery since it's a e-tron? (this is my first hybrid car, so i have no idea)
Thanks in advance for answers!
